Bridge Over Troubled Waters is operated by Rick & Cecilia Alvarado​. Rick is from east LA where he raised himself on the streets; where he survived by dealing drugs and running with gangs. He eventually ended up in prison for bank robbery. Cecilia was subjected to prostitutions by her mother  at the age of 13 and began using drugs. She says that she ran from herself for 30 years and was incarcerated at the time when she ran into the arms of Jesus. Shortly after meeting Rick, she introduced him to Christ. During recovery and restoration Rick & Cecilia Alvarado lived with family who loved them through their process of walking out their own salvation. This ministry is about paying it forward, to see lives changed healed and serving Jesus.
